Anthony Keith joined CBS NewsChannel 5 in May of 2012.
Anthony's first two years in broadcast journalism were spent working for Northern Colorado 5 covering Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland. He was also the host of Rams Sports Magazine Show for two seasons covering everything involved with CSU athletics from cross country to football. After two Border Wars (both won by UW) Anthony decided covering the Pokes may be his true calling. He originally joined the CBS 5 News Team as a sports anchor. The community (and several co-workers) figured out quickly Anthony knew close to nothing about sports and realized his true calling was the morning show.
A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Anthony is very familiar with Wyoming and is excited to be living in the Capitol City. While attending college he worked for UNC's athletic department, shooting and broadcasting Bears football games, volleyball matches and basketball games. He was also the school's sports anchor (Bear News, Channel 98 in Greeley) and fell in love with the rush associated with covering athletes of all levels. After years of working alongside the news department Anthony developed a true passion for journalism in general, and with an already odd sleep schedule the morning show became a perfect fit.
You can find Anthony all over the community, at the gym pretending to work out, at the basketball courts getting stuffed in the face or out on the town exploring the wonderful city of Cheyenne.
