Wyoming Upsets Tennessee 13-7

Maybe Joe Glenn and the Cowboys should play SEC teams more often. or perhaps playing tough defense and winning the turnover battle is a better recipe for success. 26 point underdogs at Tennessee, opportunity knocks for the Cowboys. Wyoming crashing the Volunteers' homecoming. Tennessee ALSO announcing this week that Philip Fulmer will not return as coach in Knoxville next season.

- Very Next Play - Wyoming makes Tennessee pay for their mistake! Greg Genho 4 yd TD catch from Chris Stutzriem (7-0 Pokes!)
- 2nd Qtr - Stephens drops back and Intercepted by Ward Dobbs! 24 yd return TD (13-0 Wyoming at halftime) Dobbs led the team with 13 tackles as well as that Interception for a TD and a Sack!
- Tennessee switches Quarterbacks in the 2nd Half - Jonathan Crompton to Gerald Jones for the TD (13-7 Wyoming up just 6)
- Jake Scott missed a field goal and an extra point but the Wyoming Defense keeps Tennessee in check the rest of the way.
Devin Moore finishes with 98 yards and Chris Stutzriem improves to 2-0 as a starter. Cowboys win 13-7 and improve to 3-1 against SEC teams under Joe Glenn. "Just know this; It was one of the greatest locker rooms I've ever been in in 35 years of coaching. There were some happy guiys singing and hugging each other and yelling and really that's what it's all about coaching football," said an ecstatic Coach Joe Glenn over the phone.
Quarterback Chris Stutzriem improves to 2-0 as a starter and said after the game: "Never count out the boys from Wyoming. We never give up." "We hadn't had a turnover for awhile so to get a couple and have them mean so much was a little payback," added Glenn.
The Cowboys improve to 3-1 against SEC teams under Joe Glenn, and Wyoming moves to 4-6 overall this season, keeping their bowl aspirations alive with 2 games remaining. Wyoming is at UNLV on Thursday and then at home against Border War rival CSU the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 22nd at High Noon.
