8 Former Pokes Lend Helping Hand On Defense

Laramie - 4/25/2009

The spring game was also a reunion for eight former Wyoming players.
The current Cowboys' defense is so banged up, former Pokes like Guy Tuell and Sean Claffey lent a helping hand along with graduating seniors like Ward Dobbs and Jake Edmunds.
We asked a Cowboy from both the past and the present about this unique opportunity.
"I though it was fun before the game talking with the guys in the locker room, just talking about past games and memories, it really helped take the pressure off going into the spring game," said DE Mitch Unrein, who finished with a sack and five tackles.
"I always felt pressure when I was out there to be graded and wanted to get good grades (on the field) so this time I didn't have to worry just go out and have fun playing that was the best part," added Edmunds.
