Jade Cunningham joined "Your Station" in March 2010 as a general assignment reporter/weekend weather anchor.
Jade was born and raised by the beaches in San Diego, California. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder to pursue her desire of becoming a news reporter. In 2008, she graduated from the University's School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a degree in Broadcast News and a minor in French. One of the highlights of her time at CU was reporting and anchoring for NewsTeam Boulder, Boulder's only television newscast.
She spent one year interning at KMGH-TV/7News in Denver, where she helped write and shoot stories as well as interview athletes and people around the city. After her time at KMGH-TV, Jade interned at Aurora8, a small government owned television station in Aurora, Colorado.
In March 2009, Jade made her way up to the great state of Wyoming and joined the KGWN staff as a production assistant. She helped run cameras and audio during the morning and afternoon broadcasts. After learning and understanding what happens behind the scenes, she is ready to face the cameras and deliver the news and the weather to Cheyenne.
When she's not at work, you can find her out and about the town. She loves good movies, watching baseball, traveling, and perfecting her snowboarding skills on the nearby slopes.
