Kyle Markley joined the KGWN News team in January 2011 as a general assignment
reporter and photographer.
Kyle grew up in the small town of Castalia, Ohio near the shores of Lake Erie.
After graduating from Margaretta High School he attended college at The Ohio State
University in Columbus, Ohio where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communications. One of the highlights of his time at Ohio State was working for
the student radio station in the sports department during the Buckeyes undefeated
run to the National Championship in football. He would further pursue his
education at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting in Cleveland, Ohio where
he spent time interning at Fox 8 television and ESPN Radio 850 in Cleveland.
In October 2006, Kyle came to Wyoming to join the KGWN staff as a production
assistant. He learned everything behind the scenes from the master control room
to cameras to audio. He quickly moved up to director where he's been directing
the News at Noon since August 2007. After doing all the behind the scenes work
Kyle is excited to get in front of the camera and begin delivering the news to the
people of Cheyenne.
In his free time he loves following his Ohio State sports teams, playing golf,
going to the YMCA to workout or swim and going to the movies.
