One week before the opening game against Weber State, three Wyoming football players have been suspended, one indefinitely.
Senior strong safety Eric Mitchell and sophomore tight end T.J. Smith are suspended for the season opening game against Weber State for violating team rules. A third player, junior free safety Kenny Browder has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested early Sunday morning.
The Albany County Jail did confirm to NewsChannel 5 that at 12:41a.m., Browder was booked into the jail, the reason for the arrest was not given. Also, the jail couldn't confirm whether Mitchell or Smith were arrested.
Browder was in position to be the team's starting free safety.
