With almost 1000 people voting, the Laramie County vote to increase taxes for LCSD #2 failed.

Laramie County School District #2 was asking for more than 5 and a half million dollars from county property owners.

The money would have went to build a new gym in Pine Bluffs as well as an all weather track, football field and baseball field at Burns High.

With 931 people voting, 39% of Laramie County voted for the bonds and 61% against them.

The measure would have meant a tax increase on those with property in the county.
