Every year Cheyenne Frontier Days attracts some of the biggest musicians from around the country.
Three were more announced for this summer's 116th Daddy of 'Em All.
Frontier Days has a history bringing in huge acts for it's night shows and this year is no different. They will be bringing back a crowd favorite.
"We'll have Reba McEntire, Rodney Atkins and Hunter Hays here. Great additions to the lineup. Reba's family has a great tie to Cheyenne Frontier Days. Her family roped here," said Rod Hottle, Cheyenne Frontier Days General Chairman.
They also announced first time country act.
"Hank Williams Jr., he's never performed here before so it'll be his first time here before for a performance and Chris Young will be opening for him," Hottle said.
This year's rock act will be another first timer to CFD and is sure to create huge buzz.
"Romeo Entertainment brought the idea of bringing Journey here to us and we went out and made them an offer and they came back, accepted the offer so we think having Journey here is going to be huge this year," Hottle said.
Reba McEntire will play on Wednesday, July 25. The rock act this year has been moved from the opening Friday to Thursday, July 26 and that's when Journey will perform. Hank Williams Jr. will take the stage on July 27.
Other acts that were recently announced include Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, The Band Perry and Blake Shelton.
Hottle says they make it a priority to get new acts every year.
"Cheyenne's known for bringing "A" acts to our lineup and every year we go out and try to figure out how we top the lineup the previous year."
Tickets for Reba, Journey and Hank Williams go on sale January 6th, but Hottle says if you "Like" Cheyenne Frontier Days on Facebook you'll have the opportunity to buy tickets on January 5th.
