Every year it ranks the counties in terms of child well being. Its criteria includes 12 factors, from teen birth rate and teen alcohol use to child death rate.

Laramie County ranked ninth. Albany County came in first followed by Park County. Fremont County ranked 15th.

Niobrara, Hot Springs, Crook, Weston, Platte, Johnson, Washakie and Sublette Counties were not included in the book.
