
Junior point guard Derrious Gilmore has been reinstated by the NCAA after missing the last 9 games for the Cowboys due to being academically ineligible.
In a University release, head coach Larry Shyatt said that the Baltimore native has been cleared to play immediately after being reinstated through an appeal process.
Gilmore averages 4.3 points and 1.2 assists per game this season for the Cowboys and is Jaydee Luster's back-up at point guard. Gilmore hasn't played since January, 3rd at Utah Valley. Just one game prior to the Utah Valley win, Gilmore scored a career-high 18 points in 29 minutes of play, off the bench at Idaho State.
