This weekend Union Pacific marked its 150th anniversary in conjunction with Cheyenne's annual Depot Days.
Every year Depot Days draws in a handfull of railroad events to Cheyenne. This year there was everything from a display at the Ice and Event Center to the Car 57 Project on 15th Street.
One event held during Depot Days was a ceremony honoring Union Pacific for 150 years of operation. Back in 1862, President Lincoln signed the Pacific Railroad Act creating the original Union Pacific. Today it links 23 states in the country.
