
Cheyenne Police are searching for a man who hit an elementary school student in a cross walk, then left the scene.
The boy is at home recovering after he was hit Thursday, September 20th near Hebard Elementary School. He was taken by ambulance to CRMC and treated for minor injuries.
The incident happened after school, at 3:40 p.m., when he was crossing at 5th and Seymour Avenue.
Cheyenne Police are looking for a light colored Cadillac and the driver, described as a black man with dreadlocks. The vehicle was last seen going westbound on East 5th Street.

Cheyenne Police continue to investigate the incident and are following several leads to the identity of the vehicle and driver.
