The show 'American Ride' stopped in Cheyenne today to film an episode for the upcoming fourth season. The show follows host Stan Ellsworth on his motorcycle throughout parts of the country as he discusses the history of America. The idea of the show came from Stan himself, who desired make telling history more engaging to people of all ages. To do that, he combined his passion for history and love for motorcycles to narrate the story of America. The product-- 'American Ride.'
They stopped in Cheyenne today on their tour of parts of the west. The history of the capitol city is very important in the development of our nation. As Ellsworth points out, Cheyenne is literally the crossroads of the west. The Transcontinental Railroad runs through the city and for that reason we are the city that really pulled the west and east together.
The episode featuring Cheyenne will not air until sometime in May 2013. Until then, you can watch previous at BYU TV's website. The show can also be seen on cable television on the BYU channel.
