On Friday Robert Rodriguez of Albuquerque, New Mexico was indicted on charges of maliciously damaging Cheyenne's Hitching Post hotel.
In the indicment, U.S. Attorney Christopher Crofts wrote Rodriguez used the fire to "aid and abet mail and wire fraud."
The Hitching Post went up in flames in September, 2010. At the time, investigators said it was intentionally set. It cost $14 million in property damage.
Rodriguez appeared in court in Cheyenne on Friday. He was ordered to be held without bail.
