On Tuesday the Cheerios cereal box featuring breast cancer survivor Heather Blakely-Voyles of Cheyenne was unveiled.
Blakely-Voyles is this year's "Honor Your Hero" winner, a competition sponsored by the Safeway Foundation and Cheerios.
During the month of October, Blakely-Voyles' photo and story will be featured on Cheerios boxes sold at Safeway stores across the country.
She was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer two years ago. She underwent a double mastectomy and partial hysterectomy. After several rounds of chemo and radiation, she suffered a pulmonary embolism and almost died.
Blakely-Voyles is now 18 months cancer free.
The unveiling was at a Safeway store in Denver.
Denver Bronco, Demaryius Thomas was there to show his support. His aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. She's now cancer free.
As the new face of Cheerios, Blakely-Voyles represents his aunt and all breast cancer survivors.
