Last week's Golden Apple Award went to Jeanette Curran, a first grade teacher at Buffalo Ridge Elementary in Cheyenne.

The Golden Apple Award recognizes teachers for their teaching excellence. It's presented by Holly Frontier Refining and NewsChannel Five.
