WESTMINSTER, Colo. (AP) _ The search for a 10-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving for school continues in Colorado.
Authorities plan to finish scouring some open fields as well resume a search in Jessica Ridgeway's suburban Denver neighborhood Tuesday.
The fifth-grader was last seen Friday morning after leaving home to meet friends at a Westminster park on her way to school.
Police say the only item found so far that they can link to Jessica is her backpack. It was found on a sidewalk in a neighborhood about six miles north of her home on Sunday.
Police are asking people to be on the lookout for Jessica's distinguishing characteristics _ a small gap between her two front teeth and a sore on the top of her nose below where her glasses sit.
