 PRESS RELEASE: Cheyenne Police Department

On Wednesday evening at approximately 7:08 PM, Cheyenne Police were dispatched to the intersection of Westland Road and West Lincolnway for a reported accident with injuries.

36 year old Kevin Kaiser was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle west-bound on Lin-colnway. As Kaiser and another motorcycle behind him approached Westland Road, a Ford pickup truck turned eastbound onto Lincolnway from Westland Road. Kaiser swerved to avoid the pickup truck and struck the rear pup trailer hitch of a UPS semi-truck that had turned westbound on Lincolnway prior to the pickup. Kaiser and the motorcycle he was riding laid over on it's side and continued skidding on the roadway.

Kaiser received severe injuries to his legs as well as other trauma to his upper body. He was transported to CRMC by ambulance and later air lifted to Denver. He was not wearing a helmet. His current condition is not known.

This accident remains under investigation by Cheyenne Police. Anyone that may have wit-nessed this accident is asked to please contact Officer George Trammell at (307) 637-6500.
