Sandy Could Cause Higher Gas Prices

Posted: Updated:

With tropical storm Sandy hitting the east coast, some experts say gas prices could go up.

In the last week Wyoming's average price has dropped about $.07/gallon. The national average has come $.10/gallon. However, Sandy could blow away these lower prices.

WyomingGasPrices.com reports there are a number of uncertainties "in regards to the impact at the pump for various fuels." One is how Sandy will affect several east coast refineries in her path.
