Cheyenne's newest sports bar Buffalo Wild Wings opened for business this morning.
You didn't have a prayer of being the first in Cheyenne to get your hands of these wings unless you were willing to spend the night.
"We had campers, tents, the whole bit," said Sarah Buckner.
Because of their "Free Wings for a Year" promotion, they conduct at new stores, general manager Sarah Buckner says the long lines aren't unusual.
"We've had over 100 since about midnight last night," Buckner said.
A group of local high school students were the first in line. They say they were there well before midnight to claim their spot.
"For about 20 some hours. 22 hours," said Mark DeBruyn.
"Like 15 hours. Got here at like four o'clock yesterday," said Brandon Fullmer.
"I made sure I came early, brought my camper, got it set up for everyone to use," said Alex Brown.
Jerry Robinson was one of the first in line, even though he'd never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before. But the free wings were too tempting to pass up.
"The moment that I heard they were doing this, I decided I had to be early in line," Robinson said.
Moments before being their wait was finally over, they high schoolers agreed the wait was worth it.
"It's been a long ride definitely, but I think overall it's been worth it," Fullmer said.
