We're still eight months away from the 117th Cheyenne Frontier Days, but a big announcement about next year's rodeo came down Wednesday.
The announcement of the night shows for the 2013 edition of Cheyenne Frontier Days is one of the first steps in getting closer to next year's rodeo. Wednesday that announcement came down from new Contract Acts Chairman Larry Kehl.
"We're here today to announce the 2013 Cheyenne Frontier Days night show lineup. This is probably the best night show lineup we have ever had at Cheyenne. We'll be starting on Friday, we do not have that night filled, but we are working on that and should have something released shortly. Saturday, July 20 will be Lady Antebellum. Sunday, July 21 will be Dwight Yoakum. Monday July 22 and Tuesday July 23 will be the World Championship of Professional Bull Riding. Wednesday, July 24 will be Luke Bryan. Thursday, July 25 will be Rascal Flatts. Friday, July 26 will be Jason Aldean and Saturday, July 27 will be Toby Keith," Kehl said.
The goal was to put together CFD's best lineup ever and they think they've accomplished that.
"We started our process much earlier this year and worked diligently to secure what we believe are the top country music performers in country music today," Kehl said.
Tickets go on sale to the general public November 17, but will be available November 16 for those that "Like" Cheyenne Frontier Days on facebook.
