Doors to the newly remodeled DAV building are now open. The official ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Saturday with many in attendance, including Mayor Rick Kaysen. The remodel took about one month to complete and the results are very visible.
Home Depot was the driving force behind the remodel. It did everything from replacing windows and doors to painting and putting in new floors. One individual who works there said that the upgrade is going to allow everyone who uses the building to come in and work for whatever purpose needed, especially the work of helping disabled veterans.
