Saturday marked the third and final day of a very successful food drive. News Channel Five and Spradley-Barr teamed up once again this year to provide much needed food for several local area non-profits.
The Salvation Army, Comea Shelter, Meals on Wheels and Needs, Inc. were the recipients of over two hundred turkeys and hams, close to eight hundred pounds of potatoes. In total, twelve pick -up trucks were filled with food.
Some people were going into the Wal-Mart store and filling their carts with groceries and bringing out the entire cart just for donations.
News Channel Five and Spradley-Barr Motors thank everyone for all the donations.
