Renovations at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum began today. We reported a couple weeks ago that the museum would be closed starting November 28th for the first phase of what will be several renovations over the coming months.
When finished, the re-design will provide new levels of visitor engagement and educational opportunities. This will include interactive displays to help tell the story of Cheyenne Frontier Days in a way the museum hopes will connect with a broader audience.
The first phase will be finished December 7th and the museum will reopen Saturday, December 8th at 10 am. All renovations should be complete by July 2013.
