Not Too Late For Flu Shots

Posted: Updated:

The Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department wants residents to know it's not too late to get your flu vaccination.

Currently there is no shortage of vaccine.

They're offering walk-in clinics for adults on weekdays from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and children's clinics Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m.

While peak flu season isn't until January and February, the county health department says they'll be taking on a new project to help get more people vaccinated.

"We're also expanding our outreach into the community to provide vaccines, so if you have a business or an agency that would like to be vaccinated, we'll go out into those different areas to vaccinate your employees," said Katheryn McKee, Nursing Director for the County Health Department.
