Detectives with the Laramie County Sheriff's Department have arrested two men in connection with December 6th's beating of a Cheyenne man.
Richard Cabozzi (55) and Keven W. Smith (35) are initially charged with Aggravated Assault and Kidnapping. Formal charges are pending through the Laramie County District Attorney's Office. Detectives are still searching for a third person involved.
Aggravated Assault is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in jail. Kidnapping is punishable for no less than 20 years, according to the Laramie County Sheriff's Department.
The victim has since been released from CRMC.

The 41-year-old was at his home when three masked intruders broke in and started beating him. They then took the man to Clear Creek Park where they continued to beat him.
Cheyenne Police were called around 6 o'clock Thursday night and located him near North American and Southwest Drive. He was taken to the hospital where he was later questioned by Laramie County Sheriff Deputies.
The man said he didn't know of any possible motives for the attack. He also could not give deputies a description of the vehicle or men, just that two were "above average height" and the other he considered short.
According to Gerry Luce with the Laramie County Sheriff's Department, investigators do not believe the three men in this incident have any connection to the three men in the shooting later Thursday night.
The investigation remains ongoing.
