The Cheyenne Capital Chorale has been making music in southeast Wyoming for over 60 years! This non-auditioned group is comprised of about 70 adult singers from all walks of life with an array of musical expertise. We invite you to join us as either a singer or a member of the audience!
As of the 2012-2013 Season, the group is excited to introduce two small audtioned groups. There is a Women's Quartet and the Cheyenne Capital Singers, a group of 12 Chorale members. Both small groups will perform at the concerts and are available for community events and performances.
The wide range of music performed by the Capital Chorale is evident in past concerts which include The Creation by Hayden, Mendelssohn's Elijah, a collection of opera choruses performed with the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, holiday concerts and a program featuring the best of Broadway. Our schedule for this season is on the right side of this page.
All singers are welcome to join in for a fun, educational and uplifting experience. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7PM – 8:30PM. Due to the recent growth of the Chorale, we are now rehearsing in a larger space at Johnson Junior High School, in the Choir Room. Entrance to the school is through the cafeteria.
