Parking Garage Could Be Named of Former Mayor

The downtown parking garage that sits on the block between 16th and 17th Streets and Pioneer and Carey Avenues, could be getting a new name.

Cheyenne city council is considering a resolution to rename the building the Jack R. Spiker Downtown Parking Structure*.

Current city councilman Jack Spiker was mayor of Cheyenne for eight years, including in 2003 when the structure was built.
