Owner of Neglected Shih Tzus Pleads Not Guilty

On Monday Linda Curl of Cheyenne pled not guilty to one charge of animal cruelty.

Last month her 30 shih tzus were dropped off at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, all in deplorable shape.

One had to be put down but the other 29 are still at the shelter. That's where they'll stay until the court case is settled or until Curl relinquishes ownership.

A scheduling conference is set to January 17th. That's when Curl and her court appointed attorney will meet with the judge and Laramie County District Attorney to decide what to do next.
