Smokey, of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, is a two-year-old domestic short hair that is very calm and people friendly.  Smokey was brought to the shelter only because his previous owner was forced to give him up because of a call from the landlord.  He is very deserving of a new home and he has lived with other cats, and kids of all ages.  Although he has yet to live with dogs, the shelter can give a test to see if he's compatible with canines.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter has special holiday hours.  Wednesday December 19th, Monday December 24th and Monday December 31st the shelter will be closing early at 3 PM.  The shelter will be closed all day on Christmas and New Years Day.
