COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Springs police are asking for the public's help finding a missing 2-year-old girl.
Police said Wednesday that Essence Lovato has been missing for a day and a half. She was last seen with a 28-year-old woman who had permission to take the girl to her grandfather's house. The girl never showed up and police are calling the woman a person of interest in the girl's disappearance.
The alert asking for the public's help was issued Wednesday morning by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
