Big Decisions Ahead for City Council

It could a defining year for members of Cheyenne's City Council in 2013.

Decisions will be made on the downtown "hole", next year's budget and in the coming weeks a decision on a 25-year franchise agreement with High West Energy. If passed, they would be the first to serve residents inside city limits other than Cheyenne Light.

Four of the nine members who will be making these decisions are brand new, after they finishing in the top two in their ward during last month's election.

The new members will be sworn in on January 7.
