Soon we'll be ringing in the new year and if you're hear in Cheyenne, why not do so with 10,000 of your closest friends.
Tonight, starting at 11:00 p.m., is the Cheyenne Ball Drop.
Just head down to the Depot Plaza. You may want to get there early because of parking and bundle up it's going to be chilly.
The ball is eight feet in diameter and weighs approximately 400 pounds.
That's two-thirds the size of the ball that drops in New York.
Covered by 4,500 LED lights, the ball will take about two minutes to make the 201-foot descent.
"There'll be a laser projection onto the Depot face and five minutes to midnight there'll be a digital countdown that'll start ticking down towards midnight and at about two minutes the ball will start descending," said Glen Garrett, ball architect.
