A group of representatives from law enforcement agencies around the state gathered this morning at the Capitol Rotunda.
Governor Mead spoke to them briefly about their duties during this legislative session, but that wasn't the main event of the day.
Later on, sheriffs, police chiefs and legislators all went to lunch to discuss some of the bills that affect law enforcement and the communities they serve.
The event was put together by the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police (WASCOP), which works with lawmakers on a regular basis to make sure bills and laws are enforceable.
