On Friday the House passed Senate File 104, which would strip Cindy Hill of her powers, and now she's speaking out.
Senate File 104 would replace Hill, Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction, with an appointed leader.
"It's a sad day for Wyoming and Wyoming's Constitution... The vote and the voice of the people have been taken from them" Hill says.
The legislation is now in the hands of Governor Matt Mead. He has until Tuesday to sign it into law.
