Cheyenne Places No. 3 in National Job Market

A new report places Cheyenne as the third best city in the country to find a job.

The report comes from Beyond.com, an online career network that helps people find jobs.

Every morning men and women line up at Labor Ready in Cheyenne. They're all hoping to find work and many say they usually do.

The report doesn't take job quality into account. It merely looks at numbers, people in the workforce compared to online job postings.

"I think that is one way of collecting data. That may actually indicate duplications or jobs that show up once or more" says Joan Evans, Director of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. The agency doesn't doubt the report, just points out some room for error.

According to Beyond.com, Bloomington, Illinois is the second best place to find a job. San Jose, California is number one.
