Meet Sid

Play the video to meet Sid.  Sid is a 4 year old Chihuahua mix, who came to BDAR with a very painful bum leg. He had been hit by at least 2 cars, and was unable to use his leg at all. Black Dog Animal Rescue ended up having his leg amputated to help his mobility, and a week after surgery he is already getting around fantastically. He loves other dogs and all people, and he especially loves treats and laps!

BDAR is in high gear planning the 2013 Summer Mutt Fair, a pet themed fair. It will be Saturday, June the 15th at the Amphitheater in Lions Park. We just got word that local favorite band Beatgrass will be performing!
