We have an update on a story we brought you yesterday about Cheyenne's application to the Main Street Program.
The board of directors met yesterday afternoon to hear a presentation from the Downtown Development Authority regarding their desire to become part of the program.
After the presentation the board recommended to accept Cheyenne as a certified Main Street community and final approval was given this morning from Wyoming Business Council President Bob Jensen
Cheyenne will join other main street communities including Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs and Sheridan.
