Non-commissioned officer of the year went to Sergeant Kenneth R. Hicks

Sergeant Hicks moved to Casper from Seattle in 2003 after serving five years in the Air Force.

After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2008 he joined the 84th Civil Support team based in Cheyenne as a survey member.

He says he's excited to now move on to the regional competition that takes place in Oregon in may.
