Gas Prices Up Over Holiday Weekend

Posted: Updated:

It's President's Day weekend and whether you're driving across the country or to the grocery store, you've probably noticed gas prices.

In Wyoming, they've climbed nearly two quarters in just one week. The average price for a gallon of regular is $3.41. Las weekend, it was only $2.98.

Still, the Cowboy State is cheaper than most places. The national average is $3.67.

Experts say Wyoming's prices are relatively low because of cheap crude oil from Canada. Also, refineries in this part of the country are running at a high capacity.
