Many are speculating Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi is the next in a long line of U.S. Senators to retire.
We're not even two months into the 2014 election cycle and already six have made that announcement.
So we caught up with the Senator, who wasn't too happy with all the speculation.
"I'm a little disappointed there's this emphasis on me retiring. I got on the Finance Committee, I'm the accountant. I've been there 16 years, I'm finally going to get to work on taxes. I'm the one that's doing the mantra that's stopping the deal making and starting committee process again," Enzi said.
Senator Enzi went on to say he'll probably know sometime early next year.
"I wouldn't make an announcement until probably March of the election year. I didn't announce until April the first time that I ran for an August primary with nine people in it. I don't need all the worries of whether what I'm doing is a campaign or not. I'm doing what I should do, what I need to do, what America needs done," Enzi said.
