5th Annual Ice Festival This Weekend

If you're looking for something to do this weekend with the family, head downtown Saturday and check out the Fifth Annual Kids Extreme Ice Festival.

The celebration is put on by the Wyoming Division of State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails. This years' festival is focusing on reconnecting children and families with nature and the outdoors.

And there are activities for everyone. For those not wanting to be outside indoor exhibits and booths will be included. However, the main events will be outside. Snowshoe demonstrations, a snowmobile simulator, toboggan run and snow games are just a few of the activities.

The event runs from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Barrett Building (2301 Central Avenue). It is free and open to the public.
