
The Wyoming Department of Health along with the Wyoming Survey and Analysis Center have just released a survey showing significant declines in junior high and high school students saying they use alcohol and tobacco.
According the Prevention Needs Assessment, 17 of the 19 participating counties had substantial reductions in alcohol use and 15 of 19 saw reductions in tobacco use.
The study's principal investigator Eric Canen, noted that "Wyoming students consistently overestimate how often and to what degree most students in their schools use drugs and alcohol." The statistics that prove that and all the other numbers can be found at the website listed below.
