NEWS RELEASE: Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Feb. 22, 2013) – After a brief time of being unable to accept new members while the Club was temporarily relocated, the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne is again enrolling for 2013 membership and the Summer Adventures program.

After school membership is just $10 for the entire year and grants children 6 through 18 years old access to the Club and all its activities on all regular school days from 2 to 7 p.m. The Club is also open to members for extended hours on early-release days and no-school days for Laramie County School District 1 throughout the year for just $5 per day.

We are also now enrolling for Summer Adventures, the Club's all-day summer camp running for 10 weeks from June 10 to August 16. The cost for the summer program is $1,000, with a $100 discount for paying in full before May 1, 2013. Kids signing up for Summer Adventures must also purchase yearly memberships, if they are not already members, for $10.

The Club's nationally-recognized and award-winning programs help prepare youth to become responsible, caring, productive citizens by focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles and character and leadership development. Mentoring, tutoring, games and dozens of lessons and activities from art to financial literacy fend off delinquency, idleness and boredom by keeping kids busy, engaged and productive during non-school hours.

To sign up, stop by the Club at 1700 Snyder Ave. weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to fill out a membership application or go to our website at www.bgcchey.org. Some scholarship opportunities are available.
