Working out of Alberta, Don’s Piano Showroom sells new and used pianos from across the world. Owners Don and Annette Vaugeois also refurbish and repair pianos, providing services that include tuning, conditioning, and extensive repairs.

On March 16th, 2013, Don’s Piano Showroom will be giving away a Hailun HU1P. One lucky winner will be chosen at random from the official entries to win the 48” upright piano. The contest is being held to promote the Hailun piano brand and Don’s Piano Showroom in St. Albert/Edmonton, Alberta.
Having worked in retail since 1979, owners Don and Annette have worked in different retail outlets across British Columbia (Victoria) and Alberta (Edmonton). With such an abundance of piano expertise between them, they decided to open their own shop in 1993. The idea came to the couple after discovering a serious gap in the used piano market. In short, there were few second-hand quality pianos readily available for sale, alongside a serious gap in the refurbishment market. Don’s Piano Showroom quickly grew into a substantial business–today, the shop houses numerous brands of used pianos, from Mason & Risch to Yamaha to Heintzman.
Don's Piano Showroom also fully restores older pianos, transforming them into heritage instruments and giving them a fresh start. Don loves the older pianos, the ones that “have seen many brighter days, and taking them back and restoring them to their original glory.”
Don’s Piano Showroom houses a friendly and experience staff to answer customer questions, ensuring that the shop is accessible to everyone with an interest in music. The quality service allows potential customers to find the piano that is best suited to their needs–at the right price.
The shop services the approximately 7000-part instrument providing everything from extensive to common daily fixes (think sticky keys or broken pedals). The shop also encourages musical learning, with a solid affiliation to the Piano Teacher’s Association in Alberta.
Growth of the store was inevitable for Don and Annette. Today, the showroom carries a very large selection of high quality, new piano brands such as Petrof, Hailun and Ritmuller, among others. People are often surprised to see so many pianos in the showroom and in the beautiful grand piano gallery.
Contact Don’s Piano Showroom for more information about the piano giveaway. The deadline to enter the contest is March 16th, so don’t delay.
