This will give people more information about their search targets.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 27, 2013
WhitePages.us.org will now let people perform address double checks when they do a phone look-up or a reverse look-up, company officials said.
“People use our service for a variety of different reasons,” a company representative said. “But what we've heard from our customers is that they'd like more than simply one address and phone number, so we'll be providing location double check information as well.”
Customers use WhitePages.us.org to try to get in touch with old friends, or verify that a person who is calling them is who they say they are, the company said.
“Say that you are thinking about tracking down an old boyfriend to see if he wants to get back together,” the company official said. “Finding out if he's had any multiple housing addresses is information you'd probably want to know.”
The new address double check reports will contain all known residences of each number or person searched, the company said.
“This will allow people to get a full address history of the person they are searching for,” the representative said, “and if they are looking up a stranger who called them, they'll know if they are have lived in multiple places or not.”
There will be no additional charge for the verified address information. “We just want to give people as much data as we can,” the representative said.
WhitePages.us.org offers a form of caller ID that can trace people and telephone numbers in North America. Customers can either enter a landline phone number and find out who has called, or they can enter a person's name and get their telephone information.
