The shelter also announced it will be participating in the ASPCA Rachel Ray $100K Challenge. The Goal of this challenge for shelters that are participating in the program is to double the amount of adoptions during their busiest time of the year, summer.

The Challenge does not start until June and goes through August, and in that time, in order to win we will be challenged to double the adoptions we had during that time last year! I know it sounds difficult but we are more than excited to be a part of this program. With the success we had with the Iam's Home 4 the Holidays Adoption Campaign we are more than confident we have a chance at the $100K Challenge. We will be running specials and promotions to help amp our supporters to come out and adopt this summer. Check the shelter website in the future for further details.
