Dog park lovers will soon see some long overdue improvements.
A group of 40 students from the university of Wisconsin will be here on march 26th to do the renovations. The group is touring the country and chose the dog park for one of their community service projects.
"We're looking to re-pave and expand our parking lot and cleanup the washout areas that are down there," said Kate Miller, Marketing Director of CAS. "We're also looking to add to our walkway. And we're also going to be placing new poop scoop bag holders out there and replacing the trash cans as we go as well."
Miller says they plan to put new picnic tables in the dog park for groups to sit at. They hope to get all the renovations done in one day.
