
On Sunday night the Galena Fire burning near Fort Collins was expected to be 75 percent contained.
All day fire fighters were battling the winds which reached 35 miles per hour.
Additional crews were on the ground and a second type-two helicopter was called in to help.
Last estimate, the fire, burning near Horsetooth Reservoir, was roughly 1,000 acres in size.
Over the weekend, it forced hundreds of residents to evacuate. They've all been allowed to return home.
No injuries have been reported and no structures destroyed.
