University of Wyoming head women's basketball coach Joe Legerski announced today that forward Aubry Boehme and guard Alison Gorrell have decided not to return to the Wyoming basketball program next season to pursue other opportunities.
"Alison and Aubry have made the decision not to return to the program," said Legerski. "We wish them the best in their future endeavors."
A 5-10, guard from Evergreen, Colo., Gorrell started in all 32 games this season for the Cowgirls. She averaged 3.8 points and a team high 3.7 assists. Over the past two seasons, she averaged 4.0 points and 2.8 assists per contest.
Boehme, a 6-0 forward from Smithfield, Utah, played in 28 of 32 games in her first year with the program. She averaged 1.2 points and almost one rebound per contest.
